Evaluation of the Serious and Organised Crime (SOC) Community Coordinator Project in Bury. This project: • aims to deliver a 4 P response* at a local level to reduce crime and the impact of SOC, particularly that emanating from the Western Balkans and/or as a direct result of Western Balkan organised crime group activity in the UK. • will pilot a tried and tested approach, building on lessons learned, while applying the concept to a unique threat group. • will support local disruption activity, build resilience to SOC in communities and use targeted interventions to divert young people who are (or are likely to engage) in SOC offending. * pursue, prevent, protect, prepare. The evaluation should consider how the project has impacted on the threat of serious and organised crime from the Western Balkan community in Bury. It should also consider how the use of a tried and tested approach contributes to the evidence base and embedding it as business as usual in police forces.
