Waste Fleet Condition Survey

Tender description

South Oxfordshire and Vale of White Horse Councils share many services, including waste. They cover largely rural and affluent areas. The two councils have shared a long-term waste contract with a private contractor. This is due to end in the summer of 2026. Within the current contract terms, the two councils have the right to take back the vehicles at contract end. For the councils to best understand the condition of the fleet that may novate back to them and were a payment for this transfer reflecting the market value of the vehicles to be made, then a comprehensive audit of the fleet is required. Quotes are therefore being sought to undertake a full condition survey and valuation of each vehicle in the current fleet, which all operate out of the main depot at Culham in Oxfordshire.
