Devon County Council (DCC), subject to decisions to be taken on the future DCC highway maintenance delivery model, (i.e. either a core or extensive Term Maintenance Contract) DCC intend to develop and award a contract to deliver the following: • Design and Application Footway and Hand applied Carriageway Slurry Sealing • Design and Application of Carriageway Surface Dressing • Design and Application of Carriageway Micro Asphalt • Design and Application of Carriageway Preventative Works Asphalt pavements – system mist spray and binder application to surface (proprietary products – road texture) • Design and Application of Hydro blasting and Texture blasting DCC is therefore seeking the market’s view on how this contract is packaged and procured (contract strategy) to ensure it is an attractive prospect for the supply chain.
