Data Cabling Small Capital Projects

Tender description

The NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership, hosted by Velindre NHS Trust are acting on behalf of Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board who are seeking to award a contract for two Small Capital Data Cabling Projects. The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (UHB) requires a supplier to provide an urgent quotation for the following two pieces of work; 1. Fibre Optic Cabling in the University Hospital of Llandough (See below Annex A for details) 2. Copper Cabling (RJ45) Category 6A SFTP (CommScope) in various ward locations in University Hospital of Wales, Llandough, Barry and St Davids Hospitals. Work will involve installing number of RJ45 outlets as well as providing Fire Stopping, containment and the company will need to be Category B Asbestos trained/compliant as well. These RJ45 outlets will primarily be used for additional Wireless Access Points so will be at high level and terminated in a location on a CAD/map to be decided.
