Bikeability, the Provision of Cycle Training for School Children - Request for Information

Bikeability is a Department for Transport funded national cycling training programme for school children in England. Bikeability cycle training is a practical training programme which provides school children with a life skill and enables them to cycle confidently and competently. Funding is provided annually to Local Highway Authorities and this programme has been delivered in-house by North Yorkshire Council. A detailed brief has been provided that contains further information about the scope and scale of the service. North Yorkshire Council would like to understand alternative delivery models to in-house delivery and, whether there would be sufficient interest from the supply market to procure the service from an external supplier.
