240220 Establishment of multi supplier framework for fitted furniture and initial contract to rooms 227 to 232 and 238 of UCC Food Science Building.

Tender description

UCC hereby issues this information in accordance with the requirements of EC directive 2004/18/EEC (open procedure) to complete installation of Fitted Furniture to Rooms 227 to 232 and 238 of UCC Food Science Building in UCC Main Campus and to establish a multi supplier framework of Specialist Contractors for Fitted Furniture Works in UCC. The initial contract comprises Fitted Furniture to Rooms 227 to 232 and 238 of UCC Food Science Building in UCC Main Campus. The works generally comprise laboratory furniture comprising laboratory benches with under bench storage, new worktops with base units under, some with sinks, new marble worktops with medite surround to blockwork supports and furniture to write up areas comprising write up desks with laminated worktops and medite carcass, associated wall shelfs and tall storage units all as detailed in drawings 2310/02, 2310/03 and 2310/04. These works will be undertaken in Summer 2024. The University plans to complete this project on a phased basis. The contractor is to allow for the installation in two phases. On completion of phase 1 - returning a few weeks later to do Phase 2 UCC will appoint an independent candidate to act as PSDP for the initial contract.
