Toilet Refurbishment - Birchwood Leisure Centre (Herts)

Tender description

To carry out a redesign and refurbishing of the main toilets at Birchwood Leisure Centre (Hatfield). Companies are invited to submit proposed designs, a quotation for implementing those designs and confirmation that the entire works can be delivered between Saturday 1 June 2024 and Sunday 23rd June 2024. As part of the refurbishment, the Town Councill expect the new design to include at least two stand alone disabled toilets, sufficient toilet facilities to cater for the leisure centre users and for it to be compliant with all relevant building regulations, statutory requirements and industry best practice. The Town Council intend to take a two stage approach before awarding the contract. Stage One: Tenders should be submitted by email by the deadline (9am Wednesday 6 March 2024). All tenders will be assessed against a set criteria (please see attached document) which will assess both the company and its proposals. Stage Two: Up to 4 companies will be invited to present their proposals in person on either Tuesday 12th March 2024 or Wednesday 14th March 2024, with the winning bid confirmed by Monday 18th March 2024. Companies are invited to review the current layout of the toilets and one proposed redesign (see documents attached). The Town Council is happy to facilitate a visit should any potential bidding companies wish visit and assess the site before submitting their proposal, quotation and contract bid.
