Background Hinckley Rugby Football Club wishes to select and appoint a suitable Contractor for the design, supply and installation of a PV Solar Panel System to the specifications below and invites suppliers to submit a tender to meet our requirements. The tender responses will be used to support of grant funding application which would enable us to fund the installation, with project funding for successful applicants becoming available April/May 2024. The expectation is that the work will take place in September - October 2024. Specification Scope: • Survey and System design • Installation of system including interfaces to electricity supply, scaffolding, skips. • Removal of waste from installation • Certification of installations to building regulations (structural report confirming capability of roof load already obtained) Installation: • Pitches Clubhouse South Facing Roof, height to eaves is approx 3m • Location: Leicester Road, Hinckley, LE10 3DR https://what3words.com/final.gosh.connected • Roof has standard tiles and pitch approximately 30deg from horizontal • Area beneath roof accessible from access hatches in main Clubhouse • Building Electricity supply: 3 Phase • Building has Wi-Fi coverage • Total Annual Consumption: 75,000 kWh • Continuous Running Load: 5 kW System Capability: • 98 Solar PV Panels (35-40kWp) • Grid export capability • Capability of upgrade to add batteries as a future phase of work (e.g. in inverter) • Monitoring capability to confirm PV generation levels Other Requirements: • Quotes to specify the manufacturer and part of PV Panels & Inverter the quote is based on • Quotes to confirm terms of guarantee for parts and installation • Quotes to confirm method for fixing of PV panels to tiled roof • Quotes to confirm proposed layout of PV panels on roof • All contractors or subcontractors' works are carried out to the standards as required by RECC and the MCS • Suppliers should provide details of a reference project they have previously conducted of a similar scale Out of Scope: • Planning, building insurance and mortgage provider consents. • Structural report (we have existing report for roof load capability) Please submit quotes to: Ross McMurran ross.mcmurran@hinckleyrugby.co.uk Closing date 5/3/24 @ 18:00 to support grant application submission.
