GB-Edinburgh: Refurbishment of Scarinish Lighthouse, Tiree

Tender description

We have a requirement for refurbishment and maintenance at our lighthouse Scarinish. This lighthouse is situated on the island of Tiree, the most westerly island in the Inner Hebrides of Scotland, at Latitude 56.4985 'N, Longitude -6.8057 'W, and is accessible by foot, 150m from the B8065, or by all-terrain vehicle over firm, grassy ground. The proposed works principally involves the minor civil maintenance repair works and the application of decorative / protective coatings to the lighthouse tower. Please note a site visit is mandatory on Monday 26th February 2024, we would require your note of interest in this contract proposal by Friday 23rd February 2024. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
