Barry Making Waves, Levelling Up Consultancy Services

Tender description

The Vale of Glamorgan Council wishes to appoint an experienced, creative and multi-disciplinary team of consultants, for an immediate start to provide the Services for year 1 (2023/24) and year 2 (2024/25) of the programme. The Services relate to Work stream 1 (Barry Partnership), and Work stream 2 (Long-Term Plan for Barry). The Council requires consultants who have experience of setting up place boards and engaging with a range of stakeholders. The successful consultants will also have an excellent understanding of placemaking in the widest sense, including active travel solutions, public realm design, youth engagement and activity, greening and biodiversity, business and trade engagement and support, as well as an understanding of the role of culture and heritage in the identity of place.
