National Wool Museum - Lighting Upgrade 2024

Amgueddfa Cymru are continually upgrading the existing light fittings and control systems in our museums and galleries, to more up to date and energy efficient luminaires and systems. The upgrading works and purchasing of new equipment is done on a stage-by-stage basis and is designed in house by Amgueddfa Cymru’s Technical Services Department. Brief: The lighting systems in the display areas at our National Wool Museum are due for a complete upgrade. Amgueddfa Cymru’s Technical Services team have developed a new lighting design for the museum displays which will see the replacement of luminaires, lighting tracks and the introduction of new lighting controls to further improve efficiencies and user experience. This tender is for the supply of goods in form of luminaires, lighting tracks, accessories and controls from the ERCO Lighting Ltd product range to support the delivery of the new lighting design scheme at the National Wool Museum.
