GB-Watford: Pest Control Services

Tender description

Watford Borough Council is changing the way it will be delivering the Pest Control Service. It will no longer be provided as an in-house service and it will no longer provide a service to all residents to deal with pests in their homes. It is anticipated that from the 1st May 2024 the Council will provide a pest control service for residents on means tested benefits only. We may also be looking for the contract to offer advice and treat pests on behalf of the council on an ad-hoc basis. There will be no minimum quantity or limit on the number of treatments or surveys to be requested by the Council during this Contract Period, as this will be subject to the needs of the Council and its residents. The contract will be for a 3 year period with the option to extend for two 12 month periods up to 5 years maximum. A summary of the services required are the control of: Rats and Mice; Cockroaches, bed bugs, wasps, fleas and other insects; or squirrels; The proposed contract will be the Council's services terms and conditions.
