Delivery of Investment Readiness Programme

Tender description

The Growth Hub deliver a range of business support programmes throughout the year, often using external funding e.g. Govt to pay for 3rd parties to deliver content. On this occasion we are using UK Shared Prosperity Funding awarded to North Yorkshire Council by Dept of Business & Trade. YNY LEP are delivering the programme on behalf of NYC. All proposals to deliver support using UK SPF funding have to be approved by the LEP's external SPF Board. This board is made of up external business owners, leaders, consultants etc. This proposal was approved by that board on 13 November 2023. All proposals have to meet key criteria before the Board will consider them. One of those is that the programme has appropriate evidence that businesses need this support. This evidence is provided by the Growth Hub team from the business meetings they hold so we know that there is sufficient need to warrant delivery of the programme and the SPF Board approved on that basis.
