GB-Rickmansworth: Habitat Surveys

Tender description

Expressions of Interest are sought for the baseline habitat surveying of Coombe Hill Open Space, Beechen Wood and Berry Lane using the UKHab methodology. TRDC is tendering for a contractor to complete a survey on each site, complete with a suggested management plan for the uplift of 11.9 Biodiversity Units of species rich grassland in total (against Biodiversity Metric version 2). Surveys should be completed before the end of August 2025 (please highlight in your submission if this deadline would impact the quality of data obtained from any of the surveys) and reports provided before the end of September 2025. TRDC understands that the optimal window is from May to July to perform these surveys. Full tender information will be provided in the tender pack. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
