Electrical Installation Inspection, Testing and Remedial Works

Tender description

Contract for the provision of electrical installation inspection and testing, and remedial works. The agreement will cover domestic properties, typically including, but not limited to, houses, flats and bungalows, hostels, and sheltered accommodation units. It also includes common areas in sheltered schemes and general needs stock. The scope of the agreement also includes the requirement for the successful contractor to provide a service solution for WBC's requirements for Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) and Fixed Appliance Testing (FAT) services that are to be completed in compliance with the service frequencies determined by the Council's Contract Administrator (CA). There is scale to potentially expand the scope to include testing and inspection of the electrical installations in domestic void properties, along with any necessary remedial works, and other ad-hoc requirements or additional services of the Council, that may include, but not be limited to, corporate buildings, e.g., offices, and corporate domestic properties, e.g., school caretakers' accommodation, and properties of private homeowners, e.g., properties being adapted in scope of the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG), or other properties in scope of private sector enforcement.
