Tender description

This contract pertains to the establishment of a new Local Infrastructure Organisation in Waltham Forest, aimed at representing, advocating for, and supporting the local Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS). The creation of this organisation follows an extensive year-long co-design process, co-led by the LBWF Communities team and the local VCS, to ensure the organisation meets the sector’s needs, expectations, and ambitions. The organisation’s role will include advocating for the sector, providing support, and securing additional funding to sustain its activities in the first year and beyond. Funding for this contract is sourced from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) and will be directed towards staffing costs and sector support projects, as recommended by the independent facilitator involved in the co-design process.
