NAC/5193 - Road Speed Surveys - 20mph Limits

Tender description

North Ayrshire Council (“NAC”) invites tenders for the provision of speed surveys before and after the implementation of 20mph speed limits in various locations around North Ayrshire. This contract supports the Scottish Governments commitment to roll out 20mph speed limits in Urban Locations by 2025 as per Scotland’s National Strategy for 20 mph Speed Limits - Scotlands Road Safety Framework. The contract is anticipated to commence in January 2025 for a period of 2 years. The terms and conditions of the contract will be North Ayrshire Council's Terms and Conditions of Contract for the Purchase of Services (NAC TC2). Lot 1: North Ayrshire Council are looking to appoint a service provider to carry out speed surveys before and after the implementation of 20mph speed limits across the area. The tender documents provide a list of sites to be surveyed as part of the contract. This includes 127 pre-implementation surveys and up to a further 261 post-implementation surveys. Please note that the completion of post-implementation surveys are subject to funding and are therefore not guaranteed.
