The London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking providers of healthwatch services to tender for a local Healthwatch Service contract for an initial contract period of 5 years with an option to extend for a further 3 years. The value of the 8 year contract is 1,080,000. All tender documents are in Proactis for providers to view. Lot 1: The London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking a local Healthwatch Services Provider. The London Borough of Hillingdon welcomes providers of healthwatch services to tender. The successful provider will be award a Contract for an initial term of 5 years extendable subject to applicable contractual terms and service review for a period of 3 years, giving a total of 8 years (the Term). The Service Provider will be responsible for ensuring delivery of the eight statutory functions for the local Healthwatch as prescribed under section 221 of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act, 2007, as amended by the Health and Social Care Act, 2012 and the Health and Care Act, 2022. The statutory functions will apply to all population groups in Hillingdon, including children, young people, adults and carers.
