The Police Service’s ability to provide a reliable and reassuring presence to all communities and a service that communities have confidence in, creates the conditions for our society to exist and thrive. To ensure accountability and transparency standards are met, PSNI Officers and Support Staff are required to display identifying information on their uniform, typically their rank and Personal Identification Number (PIN). This information is displayed using a number of formats depending on the role of the individual and may include epaulette sliders or badges. The PSNI require a contractor to supply of these items on an “as required” basis.
