26.58.1002 - Clarawood Park/Knockwood Park Structural Repairs

Tender description

The Contracting Authority intends to enter into a Contract with the successful Economic Operator for Clarawood Park / Knockwood Park Structural Repairs. These repairs will include the following items of work: • Rebuilding of balcony side walls in brick and replacement of defective render. • Resurfacing of decks and new glass balustrades. • Removal of concrete surrounds at curtain walling and kitchen windows. • Brickwork repaired and new steel lintels provided (Clarawood Park Blocks). • Replacement of curtain walling at communal stairway with powder coated aluminium double glazing (Clarawood Park blocks). • Replacement of timber windows with uPVC escape windows (Clarawood Park Blocks). • Replacement of cavity wall insulation following removal of concrete surrounds (Clarawood Park Blocks). Notwithstanding the date of the Contract, it is intended that the commencement date of Works by the Economic Operator will be April 2025 (described in the Contract Data and throughout the Contract as the “starting date”); however this may be preceded by a mobilisation period. All dates are subject to change in the Contracting Authority’s absolute discretion.
