SeaScapes Project – New Media Artist

Tender description

The project is keen to obtain the following services: 1. New Media artist required to work with photogrammetry, crowd sourced environmental data and algorithmic sound manipulation to develop new interactive artwork inspired by local historic structures connected with North East coastal wartime heritage. 2. Bring the historical and cultural history of the structures to life through the development and delivery of mobile, lab-based public engagement activities that utilise mobile devices as a way to create networked and physical participation. 3. Ability to work with schools and community groups using interactive programming environments to critically engage students with the history and contemporary relevance of identified historic structures through environmental listening, digital visualisation and audio recording in classroom and at historic sites.
