This is an Award Notice for the Provision of a Payroll, Roster and Availability IT System for HFRS. This is a direct award because competition is absent for technical reasons. Lot 1: This is an Award Notice. Hertfordshire County Council has awarded a contract for the Provision of a Payroll, Roster and Availability IT System for the Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue Service (HFRS). Gartan is an integrated workforce management solution designed to manage Emergency Services sector's time management needs. It is comprised of integrated 'On Call' & full time staff rostering and payroll management modules. The backbone of the rostering modules are the minimum crewing/staffing requirements at each location. The absence management algorithms are used to measure an employee's availability against the relevant minimum requirements. If a staffing issue will occur, the user is immediately alerted. If they have the user rights to create a staffing issue (e.g., a personnel shortage) the relevant users (e.g., managers) are alerted via SMS messaging, email and or App push notifications.
