Tender description

One linear accelerator was to be replaced, installed at the Aberdeen Cancer Centre (ACC), Aberdeen Royal Infirmary Campus, Aberdeen, as it had reached the end of its recommended life-expectancy and was due for replacement under the Scottish Government’s Radiotherapy Capital Equipment Replacement Programme (CERP). Product for replacement: 1x Linear Accelerators (AB3): a Linac that is capable of efficiently delivering Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) treatments Lot 1: One linear accelerator was to be replaced, and installed at the Aberdeen Cancer Centre located at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary, within Grampian Health Board, as it had reached the end of its recommended life-expectancy and was due for replacement under the Scottish Government’s Radiotherapy Capital Equipment Replacement Programme (CERP). Product for replacement: Linear Accelerator (AB3): A Linac that is capable of efficiently delivering Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT) and Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT) treatments This had been tendered within a single Lot, with the award to a single Supplier for the single Lot. The successful Supplier was required to perform as the Prime Contractor for the supply and installation of the Product.
