Tender description

This tender is a renewal of NRWs Land Management Training Framework. This training is required to provide specific forestry training and general land management training to NRW staff. NRW need to ensure staff are up to date with their forestry and land management training, and ensure our staff have the right skills and competent within their specific area especially as the work they carry out are of high risk. The courses will vary from your Standard off the shelves Lantra courses or equivalent recognised standards training such as Chainsaw, Spraying, Tractor, ATV. But we will also require specific Forestry training to be delivered in-house at our sites, training will be: - Safety Awareness in Mechanised Harvesting - Ground Preparation - Chainsaw Supervisory Course - Working on Steep Ground - Forestry for Non Forestry staff Lot 3: FISA Standard courses Lot 3 – FISA Standard courses (In order to bid for lot 3 trainers will need to be FISA approved trainers), including: Forest Works Manager Chainsaw Supervisory Training Electricity at work for Foresters Lot 1: Forestry Courses customised to NRW Lot 1 – Forestry Courses customised to NRW, including: Forestry for Non Forestry staff Ground Preparation Harvester/Forwarder Operations Working on Steep Ground Chainsaw Courses Lot 2: Training and assessment in Lantra/NPTC courses Lot 2 – Training and assessment in Lantra/NPTC courses, including: Basic Tree Inspection Ride on Mower Tractor Woodchipper Spraying PA1 & PA6 Safe us of Powered Pole Pruner
