Culture and Leisure - Children's Outdoor Play Activities - Canoe Lake

Portsmouth City Council (the Authority) is inviting tenders from suitably qualified suppliers to deliver children's outdoor play activities at Canoe Lake, Southsea. Canoe Lake is a popular hub location on the Seafront for a variety of communities with a particular emphasis on activities suitable for children such as the play parks, pedalos, model village, and mini golf. Traditionally, land managed by the Culture, Leisure and Regulatory Services has supported additional offers of children's outdoor play activities such as (but not limited to) trampolines and inflatables. The contract will take the form of service concession which will require payment to the Authority from the successful supplier. For the Canoe Lake location our income expectation is in the region of £550 per month. The Authority is targeting to have awarded the contract(s) by Monday 4th March 2024. Contracts will commence on the 29th March 2024. The initial Contract period will be for one year with possibility of extending the term by a further two years to a maximum total term of three years in increments to be agreed, subject to the agreement and performance of both parties.
