Award of Guidance for Development of Inshore MPAs Fishery Assessments (MS-P-0287)

Tender description

The Scottish Government will undertake fisheries assessments on commercial fishing activities within inshore Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) including Special Areas of Conservation (SACs), Special Protection Areas (SPAs) and, is considering the need for assessments in Nature Conservation Marine Protected Areas (ncMPAs). The Scottish Government is seeking to develop a fisheries assessment guidance package which contains a template for the fisheries assessments giving consideration to site overlaps, guidance on using these assessments and a case study showing the complexities involved in performing a fisheries assessment.
