1.1 The Marine Directorate require a flow imaging microscopy system and software for analysis of morphometric measurements and differentiation of zooplanktonic groups. Lot 1: The Marine Directorate require a flow imaging microscopy system and software for analysis of morphometric measurements and differentiation of zooplanktonic groups. The equipment will be used to acquire morphometric measurements from images of zooplanktonic organisms that are collected weekly and processed routinely at 2 Scottish Coastal Observatory (SCObs) monitoring sites. The morphometric measurements will be used in size-based indices for the assessment of pelagic habitats around Scotland. The plankton team is part of the Climate Change Biodiversity and Ecosystems delivery area in Science Evidence Data and Digital Portfolio and zooplankton monitoring is a statutory obligation of the Scottish Government.
