Tender description
This sets out the Authority’s requirement on respect of a Locally Commissioned Public Health Service (LCPHS) for the provision of Emergency Hormonal Contraception (EHC) in community pharmacy. It comprises of two parts. Component A relates to the provision of EHC and an optional Component B which relates to the provision of free condoms as part of the EHC consultation. Nottinghamshire County Council will offer contracts to all providers to whom an award can be made because they meet all requirements in relation to the provision of the relevant health care services to patients. This process is being carried out in accordance with the procedure for ‘Direct Award Process B’ under Regulations 6 and 8 of the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
