South Yorkshire Pensions Authority - Further Competition under the Actuarial, Benefits and Governance Consultancy Services Framework Agreement (NCCT41941)

Tender description

South Yorkshire Pensions Authority wish to appoint a Provider to supply the following services under Lot 3 - Governance Consultancy under the National LGPS Framework reference NCCT41941 as set out in the Framework tender documents. In response to the publication of the Good Governance Review undertaken by Hymans Robertson https://lgpsboard.org/index.php/board-statement-on-publication-of-phase-iii-report on behalf of the Scheme Advisory Board the Authority has determined to undertake an independent assessment of the effectiveness of its governance arrangements to ensure that they conform to current and emerging best practice and can deliver the outcomes likely to be required by the new regulatory framework. This review is intended to ensure that the recommendations of the previous review undertaken in 2021 have been implemented and embedded. To provide an updated assessment of the effectiveness of its governance arrangements and how well the Authority is positioned to deal with the regulatory changes that will result from the implementation of the Good Governance Review as well as ensuring that it is capable of meeting the existing expectations of regulators.
