This is a requirement to carry out stripping and re-roofing works to the Finnart Street Workshops at West College Scotlands’ Greenock Campus. Lot 1: This is a requirement to carry out stripping and re-roofing works to the Finnart Street Workshops at West College Scotlands’ Greenock Campus. The project includes the strip-out of the existing time-expired roof surface and replacement with a high-quality built-up felt layer roofing system, including insulation and improvements to rainwater outlets on the RAAC Substrate (steel supports to RAAC that are in place). The roofing system must be installed by an approved system installer of the proposed roofing system. The works will require to be carried out over a busy, live working environment with student, staff and members of the public. It is a necessity of the contract that this live environment is not affected by the carrying out of these works. Works will also include replacement of the rooflights, and alteration to the cladding upstands.
