Tender description

Meath County Council is looking to appoint one consultant to prepare a feasibility study, with costings for potential works at up to 20 locations in Co. Meath over the next 2 year period. The project shall include the production of multiple feasibility studies which will include possible preliminary landscape designs, possible sporting facilities, possible parking facilities Masterplans to guide and assist the Council in relation to future funding programmes and consultations. It is intended to use these documents for a request for funding to develop the identified locations. This tender is a request for the development of the required documents only and there will be no automatic entitlement to further works on these projects if the funding application is successful. Each feasibility study will have a notional cost of €2,500 to €3,000 with larger sites ranging from €5,000 to max €10,000 up to a maximum value of €200,000 euro over the 2-year period. Sites may range in size and in complexity, but the average size is assumed to be 1 acre. The Successful Tenderer is to provide a definitive project brief which is the full and completed statement of Meath County Council’s functional and operational requirements for the Project(s). At the end of this process Meath County Council’s requirements will have been discussed and a preferred preliminary design developed into a plan, taking cognisance of functional, aesthetic and operational requirements, local authority and public utility requirements, site issues, capital cost constraints, best overall value, delivery schedule and future stakeholder use.
