B965 Experienced Electrical Contractors for Installation, Refurbishment and Maintenance of High & Low Voltage Plant/Equipment

NIE Networks wishes to procure the services of Provision of Experienced Electricians for the Installation, Refurbishment and Maintenance of Sub Station High and Low Voltage Plant / Equipment throughout Northern Ireland. Lot 1: Lot 1 – Transmission and Distribution Projects • Installation of new/replacement High Voltage switchgear and associated equipment • Completion of multi-core installation/wiring • Installation/replacement and wiring of protection panels • Installation/replacement of Low Voltage AC control panel /board, and DC battery systems • Substation site earthing works • Outdoor high voltage apparatus and transformer installation/replacement • Installation/replacement of high level structures and associated bars • Minor work associated with testing/commissioning procedures • Recovery of Strategic Spares and removal of redundant equipment • Maintenance of High Voltage apparatus • Provision of materials Lot 2: • Lot 2 – Day Rates Provide commissioners, supervisors, electricians, fitters and apprentices for day rate assistance to NIE Networks across Northern Ireland. Inclusive of vehicles (commuting and inter-site travel), tools & equipment. Lot 3: Lot 3 – Substation Inspections Inspections of Plant & Equipment to include minor defect repairs where appropriate and provision of two driver/fitters for PWS. Additional information: The Framework Agreement period is 4 (four) years with the option, exercisable exclusively by NIE Networks, to extend the Framework Agreements for up to a further 4 (four) years.
