Urban Centre Masterplan Refresh

Tender description

Regenerating Doncaster City Centre for the 21st Century, is a key Mayoral mission. Over the past year we have undertaken a significant amount of work to deliver on this ambition. This has included the introduction of a new, private sector chaired, city centre board, a Big City Conversation engaging over 8,000 residents and developing a new draft vision for the city centre to 2050. We are integrating this work into a new 2050 City Centre Strategy, to be in place early 2025. Reflecting and incorporating the engagement with local people, the vision, a service delivery summary, short term priority interventions for the City Centre, high level actions and an implementation plan. Following the publication of the new strategy it will be necessary to undertake a refresh of the 2016 Urban Centre masterplan, to be published in summer 2025 and we are commissioning a partner to deliver this work.
