Tender description
The New Hospital Programme (NHP) would like to undertake prototyping, testing and validating for critical design elements to help the team achieve optimal performance and cost-effectiveness, enabling industrialisation of Hospital 2.0 (H2.0). NHP require a prototype to assess the size of the corridor and in-room, including the partition interfaces and the en-suite bathroom pod, located inside the inpatient room. This prototype will be a physical mock-up of a corridor, with multiple -in-room interfaces, including an en-suite bathroom pod. (“Pilot Prototype”) This Pilot Prototype is necessary to input into the Strategic Outline Business Cases (SOC) for the RAAC hospitals for the verification of corridor widths, which is fundamental to sizing of hospital size requirements (footprint) and H2.0 design. The majority of these SOC approval dates for the RAAC hospital are due Dec 24 / Jan 25.
