Modular Aseptic Suite - Hire or Purchase

NHS Borders requires to purchase/rent a temporary aseptic suite with office/packing room (unclassified), first stage changing room (grade C/D), preparation room (grade C), second stage changing room x 2 (Grade B/C) and 2 clean rooms (grade B) of which one clean must have two isolators (Grade A) and the other one isolator (Grade A) for a period of up to 5 years. This must include an AHU which meets minimum standards for air changes/hour and pressure differentials between the rooms. The unit must meet all current relevant healthcare and building regulations for aseptic units and be QAAPs compliant. The supplier must be able to: - provide both purchase and hire options based on a 5 year period (with options to extend if hire) - provide all details for any associated enabling works with the option for the supplier to carry out all enabling works if requested - provide NHS Borders any requested information / details about the unit to support the board with any Planning and Building Warrant applications. - have the capacity to have a acceptable unit on site and operational around April/May/June 2025 - provide the options to supply, install and commission 3 isolators to the boards requirements, or to relocate any existing isolators in to the unit if requested. NHS Borders currently have a combination of Amercare and Envair Isolators - Ensure the unit meets the standards set out in Quality Assurance of Aseptic Preparation Services (QAAPS) - Ensure the unit complies with all relevant Health Care and Building Regulations inc Health Building Notes, Scottish Health Technical Memorandum etc.
