GB-Duxford: Reroofing Works at IWM Duxford

Tender description

Imperial War Museums are seeking a contractor to undertake roof works at IWM Duxford: • Main Works: Roof covering replacements, re-coating and insulating, replacement of rainwater goods, minor brick and pointing repairs, and replacement of rooflights. • Buildings Involved: Buildings 50, 62, 103, 296, and Hangar 2 on both the north and south sides of IWM Duxford. • Optional Works: Buildings 48, 80, and the American Air Museum (AAM). IWM will decide whether to include these optional works before awarding the contract. • Listed Buildings: Buildings 48, 80, 50, 62, 103, and AAM are Grade II listed. Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
