Empolyer's Representative - National Maternity Hospital (NMH) @ St. Vincent's University Hospital (SVUH) Campus, Dublin 4

Tender description

The Health Services Executive is establishing a contract for Employer's Representative services to oversee the construction of the new National Maternity Hospital (NMH) at St. Vincent’s University Hospital (SVUH) Campus in Dublin. The focus will be the mobilisation, construction, and operationalisation of the NMH from Holles Street to co-locate with SVUH at Elm Park. The NMH at SVUH project has received approval to progress to tendering stage, a prerequisite of Approval Gate 3 of the Infrastructure Guidelines, and is about to embark on the delivery of a ~€1.5Bn programme of works. Tenders have been issued to market for Main Works and Reserved Specialists, with enabling works underway on site since January 2024. The programme scope considers all aspects related to operationalising the new facility – Capital, Equipping, ICT, Commissioning and Transitioning, and Operational Readiness.  Due to the scale of this programme, there is new demand and increased scrutiny on delivery teams and therefore, there is a need to set up Employer's Representative services within the overall programme delivery.
