This is an invitation to tender for the development and delivery of a Local Hospitality Employment Academy on behalf of Derry City and Strabane District Council’s Labour Market Partnership, hereby known as DSLMP. This procurement exercise focuses on the Skilled Labour Supply theme. DSLMP are seeking tenders from organisations who have the required experience, expertise, and qualifications in delivering and managing employment academies within the Local Hospitality sector (excludes local hotels). The Local Hospitality Employment Academy is to be delivered to residents of Derry City and Strabane District Council (DCSDC). This academy is to furnish participants with the confidence, employability skills, qualifications, and support required to take up employment within local hospitality establishments such as coffee shops, restaurants, take away chains and so on. The Awarded Tenderer (AT) will develop participant employability skills, deliver hospitality qualifications and training, and prepare participants for sustainable employment, all in preparation for their completing a two-week placement within a local hospitality establishment and undertaking a guaranteed interview at the end.
