InTouch System Renewal

Tender description

Hywel Dda Health Board ("HDUHB") has awarded a contract for the provision of an InTouch system and support renewal. This contract is utilised to allow patients to check-in to appointments themselves using wall mounted self-service kiosks at Cardigan and Aberaeron Integrated Care Centres. The agreement integrates with Wales Patient Access System (WPAS) to provide appointment information to reduce queue times and lengths at the reception desk. The system provides estimated wait times and directs patients to their wait location to improve the overall patient experience whilst freeing up staff for other critical tasks.The NHS Shared Business Service (SBS) Audio Visual Solutions and Integrated Operating Theatres 2 framework agreement (SBS10245) is compliant with UK/EU procurement legislation and provides a compliant route to source audio visual solutions for operating theatres alongside patient check-in, patient entertainment and digital signage solutions. This framework includes several potential providers who have achieved inclusion on the framework following a qualification process and procurement approached the incumbent provider and one (1) supplier with links to the Welsh economy.
