Bellozanne STW Centrifuges Replacement Project, Jersey

Tender description

The Scope of Works is described in the Bellozanne STW Replacement of Centrifuges Contract Section 4.0: The Specification, is summarised as, but not limited to the following: 1 Where required, the Contractor shall prepare specifications and scope of works for all further site investigations, surveys, testing and monitoring that are required to complete the construction under this Contract and shall complete such investigations as necessary to complete the Works. 2 The Contractor shall be responsible for maintaining and dealing with all access, including temporary site lighting, to the Site if required by the Purchaser. 3 Design (to the extent set out in the Specification), supply, delivery (including any necessary Jersey import taxes/duties), installation, construction and testing as necessary for the Works including, but not limited to the following: • Supply and delivery of 2 nos. Centrifuges and all parts and equipment required for installation. Including all commissioning and testing etc. • Installation and commissioning of 2 nos. Centrifuges. • New penetrations through the existing floor or structure and making good any existing penetrations. • Delivery of training for I&E Staff. • Supply of one year’s strategic spares • Decommissioning and complete disposal from Site of the 2 nos. existing Centrifuges (Option). • Future Servicing Contract (Option). • Hard facing or similar of any Schroll/Conveyor that are available and that meets or exceeds the Specifications identified (Option). • Schedule of strategic spares along with itemised prices and lead times (Option). 4 Supply of all materials. 5 Design of any temporary facilities and accesses necessary to carry out the Works. 6 Design and construction of temporary works necessary to carry out the Works. 7 Maintenance of the issued temporary ‘Heras’ fenced Contractor’s compound, storage and working areas. 8 As constructed ‘marked up’ drawings, calculations and records for the Works. 9 All information necessary for the Health and Safety File.
