Tender description

The North Yorkshire Council requires providers to deliver primary care services for service users within the county of North Yorkshire. The services include: - NHS Health Checks. The provision of the NHS Health Check programme (risk assessment, risk awareness and risk management), delivered to the eligible population across North Yorkshire. - Sexual Health Services. The provision of LARC (Long – acting reversible contraception) service to women of all ages – subdermal implant (SDI) or Intrauterine Devices (IUDs); either LNG-IUD or Cu-IUD. Chlamydia screening service to sexually active women under 25-years (as part of the National Chlamydia Screening Programme). Free condoms to under 25-year-olds and sexual health information to service users - Illicit Drug Treatment Shared Care Service – The provision of support to the adult patients aged 18 years and over within the registered population who use illicit or illicitly obtained opiate drugs. Lot 1: NHS Health Checks NHS Health Checks. The provision of the NHS Health Check programme (risk assessment, risk awareness and risk management), delivered to the eligible population across North Yorkshire. The awards for these contracts have been made under direct award process B, as detailed within the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). The service is demand led and the value may vary based on patient demand. The estimated lifetime value is £2,440,200. The contract duration is 3 years between 1st April 2025 – 31st March 2028. There is also two options for the contracts to be extended which are 1st April 2028 – 31st March 2030 and 1st April 2030 – 31st March 2032. Therefore, the total possible contract duration is 7 years (3+2+2). NHS Health Checks is an existing service, both new and existing providers have been awarded contracts for this service.
