Market Engagement Event for the Design & Build of Fire Appliances

Kent Fire & Rescue recently held a supplier engagement day for the design and build of pumping appliances. Based on information gathered from the engagement session, we are looking to undertake further research to support the development of our requirements. As such we would be very keen to visit Supplier’s to discuss advances and innovation in firefighting appliance design and capabilities. This discussion may include the following elements: • Appliance design • Appliance stowage • Firefighting capability • Pump design • Foam/additive systems • Contamination reduction • Emerging technologies • Safety features • Inclusivity by design • Crew Welfare/ comfort • Environmental Impact We welcome visits that can be accommodated between now and the end of March 2025.
