Egress (Email Encryption and Threat Protection)

Tender description

We have worked with IS Software Licence Team and have started to analyse the current use of Egress Prevent as similar capability exists with Microsoft Mail Encrpytion. This allowed us last year to reduce the number of licences we hold from 1800 to 1200 unfortunately use has increased and work to move away has stalled due to resource constraints. We have therefore, to remain licence compliant needed to add a further 100 licences bringing the total to 1300 It is our opinion that it will take at least a further 24 months to move a more significant number of staff form Egress to Microsoft Mail Encryption. In addition we have renewed our EgressForm upload feature which was brought in to replace an older piece of software and it is still used providing a simple but secure large file upload feature.
