Tender description
A key challenge is tackling the issue of PM2.5 emissions associated with commercial cooking, accounting for over 60 % of PM2.5 emissions in Westminster. PM2.5 stands for particulate matter and refers to tiny particles in the air that are small enough to travel deep inside the lungs, heart and brain. They can lead to serious long-term health conditions such as heart disease. Westminster City Council (WCC) have up funding available and are looking for a maximum of 3 suppliers to provide innovative solutions to reduce emissions from commercial cooking.
