23/054 - Provision of Engineering Services Framework Agreement

Tender description

The provision of Engineering Services Framework will be six (6) lots. Described below, which the Contracting Entity is currently planning to tender for services in the Republic of Ireland. The Contracting Entity reserves the right to call off from the Framework in respect of ancillary services that may be required to be performed in Northern Ireland. Applications to pre-qualify for, and in due course bid for, each lot will be evaluated separately. Please note that candidates can tender for any or all of the six lots. The Applicant will be required to carry out all of the services outlined in Appendix 3. If a service provider intends to use an outsourced entity or 3rd party provider, then they need to reference same within the resource section in which they are applying for and complete section 4.3. GNI can amend services within a lot where they have not been explicitly mentioned within the lot description below. Applicants should note that from time to time over the term of the Framework Agreement, the Contracting Entity, at its sole discretion but without altering the overall nature of the Framework Agreement, may modify the Framework Agreement to reflect changes in its requirements. The conditions under which such an option may be exercised by the Contracting Entity will be outlined in the relevant call off competition document. Below is a summary of the Services for each Lot and please refer to Appendix 3 for a detailed description of each of the lot’s indicated below: Lot 1: Refurbishment, Gas Decarbonisation and New Build Assets for Transmission Onshore and Offshore (end to end). Lot 2: Network Modifications, Refurbishment, Reinforcement, Gas Decarbonisation, New Connections for Transmission and Distribution (end to end). Lot 3: Biomethane, Hydrogen, District Heating and Renewable Gas New Build (end to end). Lot 4: Environmental and Planning – Environmental screening, planning applications, flood risk assessment. Lot 5: Electrical, Control and Instrumentation -Refurbishments, Gas Decarbonisation and New Builds Assets, Project Design, Supply of Materials (E,C and I). Lot 6: Design and Cost Estimation of New Connection Projects and Mains Alteration Projects.
