Sligo County Council is seeking tenders from qualified parties to ensure the appointment of a consultant and a multi-disciplinary team. The successful candidate will be required to prepare documents for the purpose of a Part 8 Presentation to Sligo County Council for December 2024. Development and specification of a THRIVE-informed proposal for Sligo Gaol, specifically the former Governor’s House and remaining Cell Block(s) and their curtilages, e.g. machinery/ storage yards, to a stage of readiness for Strand 2 consideration. This to include completion of environmental screening, climate proofing, and, or other assessments required under national guidelines, archaeological reports, ground investigation works, QS pricing, business plan/ strategy for reuse of the historic structure, and finally designs and drawings to achieve Part 8 planning consent.
