This is an alternative approach to accommodation where there will be a care provider in situ and additional tenancy management support provided by the landlord. With the landlord not being in the social care sector, this offers an opportunity to receive support from someone who would be looking at the situation as a future landlord and help ensure that the tenants using the service build up their skills and understanding of how to manage a tenancy and flat. The landlord support provider will also help transition the service users onto future permanent independent accommodation.
