PIN Delivery of Cycle Training Services for Trinity Active Travel Hub

Introduction North Ayrshire Council (“NAC”) are looking to notify the market about this potential future contract opportunity. It is anticipated it will be advertised on 26th November 2024 as a Quick Quote, with the procurement exercise carried out via Public Contract Scotland-Tender. NAC welcomes expressions of interest from suppliers, by completing the questionnaire below and returning to jadearmstrong@north-ayrshire.gov.uk before close of business 19th November 2024. Background North Ayrshire Council is looking to engage with a suitable candidate or organisation to deliver Cycle Training services to North Ayrshire Council residents, school age pupils and staff via the Councils Travel Smart Programme. North Ayrshire Council Active Travel and Trinity Active Travel Hub staff will identify members of the public, staff, workplaces and school groups interested in taking part in cycle related activities / events. NAC will co-ordinate with the successful bidder to agree dates to deliver these. Timescales The estimated date for publication of the Quick Quote is 26th November 2024. The estimated deadline for responses is 10th December 2024 at 12 noon. The estimated award date is 2nd February 2025. The anticipated start date is 1st April 2025 until 31st March 2026 with the option to extend by up to 36 months. Extensions will be at the sole discretion of NAC and subject to satisfactory performance and funding. Lot 1: Please refer to the attached PIN Questionnaire.
