Kirklees Calder & Tributaries RR - Baseline Study

Tender description

This project aims to gather evidence on the identified sections of River Calder, Colne, Batley and Spen water bodies and their sub catchments (Image 1) held by us and our partners and collate it into one useable, concise report and catchment assessment document. The project will gather existing data to create an evidence base and highlight issues and opportunities for environmental mitigation and enhancement for the proposed FCRM schemes. Where gaps in the knowledge are identified these may be rectified through targeted surveys or site walkovers to ensure a comprehensive set of baseline data. Stakeholder engagement will be carried out to sense check and further catchment knowledge.
