Tender description

The Vale of Glamorgan Council (“the Council) is commissioning a dedicated floating support service for Housing related support. THIS TENDER IS NOT FOR A CARE SERVICE, Lot 1: The Vale of Glamorgan Council’s Supporting People Team has identified a need for a dedicated floating support service to deliver 20 units* of Housing related support for the following client groups: a)People with a Learning and/or Physical Disability b)People with a developmental disorder (i.e. autism) c)People experiencing low level Mental health Issues The service is being targeted at these client groups in order to deliver housing related support to vulnerable adults who would not normally meet the threshold of Learning/Physical Disability, Developmental disorder or Mental health to be picked up by Social Services/ Health. The service will support vulnerable adults who are at risk of homelessness that require support to maintain their tenancies and/or support to find suitable accommodation to live in. Additional information: The Vale of Glamorgan Council has declared a Climate and Nature emergency and is committed to working with suppliers that contribute to our journey towards Net Zero Carbon Tenders may be submitted in Welsh and will be treated no less favourably than a tender submitted in English.
